National Adoption Day

Some of the most joyous times as a judge are spent presiding over adoptions.  The parent-child relationship is one of the most tender of all relationships in life.  Helping to make this bond legal is society’s acknowledgement of the love that already exists in a family.

On Saturday, November 21, 2009,  “NATIONAL  ADOPTION  DAY,” I was privileged to approve the adoptions for 14 children.  The happiness and love in these pictures is self-evident.
